RETURNS -
At E&M Interior Designs and Antiques, (“We” or “we”), all sales are considered FINAL at the time of purchase. This pertains to all sales made including but not limited to via the telephone or email, through social media channels, and online utilizing the e-commerce capabilities of our website InteriorDesignsandAntiques.com.
You, as Purchaser, assume all responsibility for selecting and purchasing the correct item(s) and understand no refunds, exchanges, store credit, or other consideration will be made or issued.
As such, you should carefully review all labels and descriptions provided for items for sale, including materials and composition, care and maintenance, and sizes and measures. Where we provide imagery of items, every effort has been made to provide images which accurately represent the item, including colors and textures, realizing that colors and textures on video screens and monitors may appear slightly different from actual.
We provide several channels of communication by which you may seek assistance with your questions and/or concerns about an item, and we strongly encourage you to take advantage of the channels of communication prior to completing your purchase.
SHIPPING -
DOMESTIC U.S.
Every effort is made at E&M Interior Designs and Antiques to ship orders as quickly as possible, generally within 2-3 business days from the date of sale and after payment is complete. No order will be shipped if payment is pending, unsettled, in-transit, or otherwise incomplete. Our estimation for shipping if for the time to package and prepare the item(s) for shipping, and does not include the transit time of various carriers.
We will communicate with you if a delay is expected or incurred beyond our usual time-frame.
Prices of all items for sale at E&M Interior Designs and Antiques exclude provision for shipping costs.
Accordingly, all orders to be shipped will have shipping charges added to the order. Where applicable, shipping charges may also be subject to sales tax which will be added to the order as well.
We primarily utilize USPS, FedEx, and UPS (“Delivery Services”) for shipping of small to medium size items. Large or oversized items, such as large pieces of furniture and such, may require shipping via Common Carrier (”Carrier”). Quotes for shipments via Common Carrier will be obtained based on the level of delivery service you specify, or as limited by the Carrier. Your approval of these shipping quotes will be required with payment secured prior to scheduling.
Most Delivery Services and Carriers include basic levels of shipping insurance, based on the item(s) value. We will procure additional shipping insurance when the value of item(s) being shipped exceeds the basic level, and include this in shipping charges billed to you.
Tracking numbers provided by the Delivery Services and Carriers will be forwarded to you as soon as they are available.
E&M Interior Designs and Antiques will not be responsible for additional fees that may be assessed if you, as Purchaser, modify the delivery method or service once we have scheduled and tendered the order with the Delivery Service or Carrier.
ALASKA, HAWAII, PUERTO RICO, APO/FPO, AND U.S. POSSESSIONS AND TERRITORIES will incur higher shipping costs and fees and these rates will be determined and charged to you, the Purchaser, as required. Additionally, shipping transit times may exceed those which may be posted or provided elsewhere by E&M Interior Designs and Antiques for Domestic U.S.
CANADA, MEXICO AND REST OF WORLD
E&M Interior Designs and Antiques does not presently ship to these locations.
DAMAGED ITEMS CLAIMS PROCESS
If shipping damage is observed upon delivery of your order, do not accept delivery and notify the Delivery Service or Carrier before the driver leaves your property, noting the damage on the delivery ticket. You, the Purchaser, should retain a copy of the delivery ticket with the damage noted thereon. If shipping damage is observed after the departure of the Delivery Service or Carrier’s driver, you should contact the Delivery Service or Carrier immediately to file a damage report. The Delivery Services and Carriers have specific freight damage claims processes which must be observed to preserve your rights.
EFFECTIVE DATE AND UPDATES
The effective date of this Returns and Shipping Policy is October 1, 2022. You agree that E&M Interior Designs and Antiques may modify and amend the Returns and Shipping Policy at any time in its sole discretion and without notice to you. When it is modified and amended, the modified and amended Returns and Shipping Policy will be made available on the E&M Interior Designs and Antiques website for your convenience, and your continued use of the E&M Interior Designs and Antiques and Services, as incorporated by reference with the Terms of Use, will constitute your acceptance of any modified terms in this Returns and Shipping Policy.
